| A returnable security deposit of £50, payable in cash, will be
held against breakages, losses and late return. |
| A day hire period is generally 9.30am to 6.30pm but
navigation must at any rate cease before dusk. Aim to return between 6.00
and 6.30pm after which time additional hours or part thereof are charged
at £15 per hour. If you intend to be late a telephone call will be appreciated.

| The boat will be supplied in a clean and tidy condition and we
expect it to be returned similarly. We are happy to dispose of bagged
waste. |
| We will ensure that the boat is in good working order
and a breakdown is unlikely but not impossible. In this event we will
endeavour to fix the problem as soon as possible however if the problem
is terminal then we will offer you an alternative day or part thereof.

| In the event of the boat being unavailable on the hire day due
to circumstances beyond our control our liability is restricted to the
return of any monies paid or the offer of an alternative date. |
| Please take any valuables with you should you leave
the vessel unattended.We cannot be responsible for losses. |
| It is your responsibility to operate the vessel in a safe and
sober manner and to show consideration to other canal users. Be extra
vigilant when using locks. |
| Although the roof of the vessel is strong we do not recommend
travelling on it but in any event do not allow more than one person on
it as this may affect the stability. It is good practice to distribute
the weight within the boat fairly evenly. A well-trimmed boat handles
better! |
